Established in 2001 through a partnership between the Government of Uganda, United Nations Development Programme with funding support from the European Union and technical backing from UNCTAD under Enterprise Africa, Enterprise Uganda was formed with a clear mission:
To develop Ugandan MSMEs through high-quality, practical business development services that enhance productivity, growth and competitiveness. Today, Enterprise Uganda stands recognized as a Centre of Excellence in providing Business Development Services not just in Uganda but across the world and for over 2 decades, we have dedicated ourselves in reaching entrepreneurs across the country, touching lives and creating undeniable impact. To date, we continue to support thousands of enterprises, contributing to job creation, improved incomes and stronger local businesses in pursuit of our greater vision to build a competitive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uganda.
