Before the training, I was already rearing chickens and had about 100 broilers. However, I didn’t have proper business management skills.
During the Enterprise Uganda training, I learned how to keep records, plan better, and apply modern farming practices.
After receiving UGX 1,000,000 from the Parish Development Model (PDM), I used the money carefully because of the knowledge I had gained. I increased my stock to 150 broilers and invested in feed, coffee husks, and vaccines.
If I had received that money before the training, I might have used it differently.
Now, I plan to grow my poultry business to 500 chickens, and I also share what I’ve learned with others who want to start similar businesses. The training helped me use my resources wisely.
