Empretec Cohort 25
Enterprise Uganda conducted a Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Governance Training alongside a Training of Trainers (ToT) for 54 PDM SACCO facilitators.
The training attracted over 600 participants including farmers, parish chiefs, and PDM SACCO leaders from Businafwa, Buhugu and neighbouring areas. It was aimed at strengthening the capacity of facilitators to support SACCO leadership, promote accountability, and guide enterprise development within their communities.

MARU Incubator Program
The MARU Incubator was a 3-day training which brought together small and micro enterprise owners for an intensive program focused on financial discipline and business bankability.
Participants engaged in hands-on sessions covering financial record management, responsible credit use, and sustainable business growth strategies.
Outcomes for Participants:
- Improved financial systems and record keeping
- Enhanced credit readiness
- Stronger, more structured businesses
Dual Career Entrepreneurship Training
The Dual Career Entrepreneurship training equipped over 200 professionals from 3 MDAs: the Uganda Prisons Service, the Ministry of Water and Environment, and Butabika Hospital, with practical tools for achieving financial independence beyond formal employment.
Participants explored money management, investing, and entrepreneurial thinking, while undergoing key mindset shifts around wealth creation and financial discipline. Our expected outcomes of this training were to improve financial awareness and planning, increase confidence in income diversification and to encourage participants to create and manage multiple income streams while maintaining productivity at their jobs.
Farmer Development Training (FDT) – Kwania District
Over 500 Parish Development Model (PDM) beneficiaries across Aduku, Inomo, Nambieso, Cawente, and Abongomola benefited from Farmer Development Training.
The program focuses on mindset change and building entrepreneurial skills to help participants effectively utilize PDM funds and increase household income.
National BDS Standards Launch & Association Event
Enterprise Uganda participated in the official launch of Uganda’s National Business Development Services (BDS) Standards in collaboration with key stakeholders including UNBS and United Business Support Professionals Ltd.
The event marked a major step toward professionalizing BDS delivery and improving the quality of support available to MSMEs.
BNI Uganda Leadership Teams & Academy Launch
BNI Uganda in partnership with Enterprise Uganda, successfully hosted the launch of the BNI Leadership Teams and Academy. The event brought together a dynamic group of business owners and leaders committed to building stronger networks and enterprises.
Participants were introduced to structured networking frameworks and leadership development approaches designed to foster long-term business growth.
